Position: 1099 independent contractor
Mattis Travel is seeking a motivated professional who can combine customer service, travel research, and relationship-building. The advisor will help clients evaluate destinations, cruises, resorts, airfare options, excursions, transportation, and travel protection.
You will communicate with travelers, prepare quotes, complete authorized reservations, explain supplier policies, maintain accurate records, follow up on deadlines, and build client relationships through networking and independent marketing.
Requirements and skills:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer, telephone, and dependable internet
Strong verbal and written communication
Sales and relationship-building ability
Research, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple client requests
English required; bilingual ability is valuable
Eligible advisors may receive access to remote training, destination certifications, supplier education, booking resources, professional support, discounted personal travel, advisor rates, and supplier-sponsored opportunities.
