Remote Data Entry Clerk (Demand, Production & Customer Records)
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Remote Data Entry Clerk** to input, manage, and maintain historical data related to demand trends, production records, supply chain activities, and customer information. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer-savvy, and capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
You will report to a Data Manager or senior data team member and play a key role in ensuring that business-critical data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible within digital systems.
Responsibilities
* Enter and update historical data on demand, production volumes, supply records, and customer information into company databases
* Accurately transfer data from source documents (e.g., reports, spreadsheets, forms) into digital systems
* Maintain structured datasets for analysis, ensuring consistency across records
* Verify data accuracy by cross-checking with original documents and resolving discrepancies
* Create and manage spreadsheets containing large volumes of numerical and categorical data
* Retrieve and compile data for reporting, forecasting, and operational needs
* Regularly update existing records to reflect the latest available information
* Perform routine data backups to ensure secure data preservation
* Organize and archive digital files systematically for easy retrieval
* Collaborate remotely with team members to clarify data requirements and ensure alignment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role (remote experience is a plus)
* Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail
* Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar database systems
* Ability to manage large datasets related to demand, production, supply chains, and customer records
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Understanding of data confidentiality and security principles
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
* Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace
* 18 years and above
* Be a resident here in U.S with valid means of identification authorized to work.
