Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Warranty Administrator to manage OEM warranty claims for franchised dealership clients.
This is a remote full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
• Remain current with manufacturer warranty policies and bulletins.
• Review, book, code, and submit OEM warranty claims.
• Verify repair orders, technician stories, labor operations, causal parts, approvals, and supporting documents.
• Monitor claims through approval and payment.
• Correct rejected or adjusted claims and prepare appeals when required.
• Reconcile manufacturer payments and maintain clean warranty receivables.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
• Coordinate with dealership service, parts, and accounting teams.
Requirements
• 3+ years of automotive warranty-administration experience.
• Experience with a franchised dealership, dealer group, or warranty-processing company.
• Hands-on experience processing OEM/factory warranty claims.
• Working knowledge of CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or a similar DMS.
• Experience with manufacturer warranty portals, rejected claims, and payment reconciliation.
• OEM warranty training or certification is preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Direct automotive OEM warranty experience is required. General insurance or extended-warranty customer-service experience alone is not sufficient.
