Job Summary
We are looking for a Religious Community Support Worker to provide compassionate, community-based support to individuals and families connected to our nonprofit and faith community programs. This role offers practical assistance, advocacy, and referrals while delivering culturally and faith-sensitive support in collaboration with community partners and (when appropriate) faith leaders.

Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support to clients facing social, emotional, financial, or life challenges.
Conduct basic needs assessments, develop support plans, and follow up regularly.
Connect clients to community resources and services (housing, healthcare, income supports, counselling, settlement, etc.).
Provide advocacy and accompaniment to appointments when needed.
Support community outreach, program activities, and events that promote wellbeing and inclusion.
Collaborate with staff, volunteers, faith/community leaders, and partner agencies.
Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and confidentiality in accordance with policy.
Qualifications
Diploma/degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Support, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience providing client support, outreach, or case management in a nonprofit/community setting.
Knowledge of local community services and referral processes.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work respectfully with diverse cultural and faith backgrounds.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
Background check (Police/Vulnerable Sector) may be required.
