Release Management Analyst II (Hybrid in Columbia, SC or possibility of being remote)

An AgFirst Release Management Analyst is integral to the team when considering the necessary processes for implementing changes to the UAT and Production environments. The analyst will ensure approved procedures are followed and enforced, to include code deployments as well as application updates. What you'll do

• Interface with the user community. Includes project managers, developers, technical system owners, and business system owners.


• Adhere to procedures. Must understand and maintain optimum stability within the production and non-production environments.


• Familiarity with application. Requires expertise with version control, automation tools, and change control mechanisms.


• Weighs business needs. Evaluate against change control concerns and articulate issues to management.


• The document is in place. Ensures processes are documented and published for all teams to follow.

What you'll need

• Education and,or experience equivalent to an associate degree in computer science or related field.


• 3 - 5 years of comparable work experience.


• Preferred skillset: experience with Azure DevOps, scripting with PowerShell, coding background


• Knowledge and experience with version controls and change control in a client/server environment.


• Ability to express the user's technical information in a non-technical manner.


• Excellent planning, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.


• Ability to multi-task, handle stressful situations, and strong team focus and interpersonal skills.
