Release Automation Engineer Job

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Xcode Cloud and GitHub Actions to automate building, testing, and deploying web and backend applications across multiple platforms. Work closely with the DevOps and application teams to implement these pipelines needed for a reliable release process. Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and Kubernetes deployments to ensure reliability, security, and continuous delivery. Diagnose and fix any pipeline breaks, as well as monitoring the health of these pipelines. Investigate and advocate for new software technologies and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of DevOps engineering or release automation engineering experience.
Specific Skills: This position also requires education or experience in:
1. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD;
2. Docker and Jib to package and deploy Java Spring Boot apps;
3. Kubernetes and AWS EKS;
4. Helm charts;
5. Maven;
6. Linux; and
7. Python, Powershell, and bash skills

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary for this role is between $148,238 - $182,160 per year. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
