Construction company Olympic Projects Ltd. is looking for a Rehabilitation and Renovation Manager
NOC 70011
Permanent, full-time position
Work Location: Various client sites across the Greater Vancouver Area, BC
WAGE: $39.00/hr
DUTIES & RESPONSOBILITIES:
- Plan, organize, oversee and manage residential renovation projects from conception to completion;
- Ensure that renovation projects are adequately staffed; recruit, hire, train and mentor employees and subcontractors according to needs;
- Develop work schedules and assign tasks;
- Effectively communicate with clients, architects and engineers regarding project plans and specifications; negotiate project revisions, changes and additions;
- Monitor and inspect subcontractors’ work to ensure quality and specifications are met;
- Develop health and safety plans for on-site emergencies;
- Ensure that residential renovation projects are staying under budget and completed on schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential renovation, including supervisory or project management experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Completion of high school. Relevant college or university degree would be an asset.
