Registered Nurse – ICU Job

Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, high-quality care to ICU patients with a variety of medical conditions
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients and critical drips
• Perform frequent assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer emergency medications and follow ACLS protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Accurately document all care and assessments in the Epic charting system
• Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety measures

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/Critical Care nursing experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required
• Active New York State RN license – must be in hand at submission
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:3 in an ICU setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts (day/night) and every other weekend
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility – locals not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted
