Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) Job

Sunrose Wellness Centre is a newly opened holistic wellness space is at street level, situated in the vibrant Bathurst and Queen area of downtown Toronto, with exposure to significant foot traffic. We are dedicated to nurturing health and harmony through natural and integrative approaches. Our Centre provides a calm, supportive environment for both clients and practitioners, where professionalism and compassion come together to promote genuine healing and well-being.

We are seeking passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and a solid understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide professional wellness or therapeutic treatments tailored to clients’ needs
• Maintain accurate client records and uphold professional standards and ethics
• Uphold professional standards of conduct and maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Educate clients on self-care, lifestyle, or complementary wellness practices
• Collaborate with other team members to create an exceptional client experience
• Maintain a clean, safe, and calming treatment space
Skills:
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Excellent customer service abilities to create a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
• Ability to adapt massage techniques based on individual client requirements and feedback.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Qualifications:
• Licensed Massage Therapist (RMT), Certified Holistic Practitioner, or Osteopathic Practitioner (DOMP or equivalent)
• Professional liability insurance
