Location: Baltimore, MD (AMDC and Residential Homes)
Position Type: Contract (20 hours per week)
Reports To: Team/ Sr. Director of Operations
Compensation Range: $50 - $60/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct admission, annual, and significant change nutrition assessments, including evaluations of weight, diet orders, feeding skills, medication impact, and energy needs.
Provide ongoing care plan updates and nutritional recommendations per participant.
Deliver in-services, training sessions, and education to participants and staff as needed.
Review and sign monthly AMDC menus, providing adjustments as necessary.
Submit a monthly weight report and recommend interventions based on findings.
Attend bi-weekly virtual nursing meetings (Tuesdays, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
Maintain state and federal licensure, with up-to-date documentation provided to L.I.F.E., Inc.
Maintain professional liability insurance coverage.
Scope of Work:
Applies only to participants under full-time care of L.I.F.E., Inc.
Does not include kitchen operations, direct meal preparation, or inspections/surveys, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Staff consultations for the best practices and survey preparation may be provided and billed as needed.

Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
Licensed Dietitian in the State of Maryland
Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience working with medically complex or developmentally disabled populations preferred
