Job duties:
-Installing including rough in (first fix) of a variety of Split AC systems, Roof top condensers and associated AC systems
-Equipment Start Up’s - general HVAC, controls and hydronic, service support and warranty work on all installations
-Testing, inspecting installed systems and troubleshooting control issues
-Carrying out refurbishment work due to breakdown or maintenance inspections
-Providing accurate feedback information including completing test sheets, routine rounds inspection sheets and work dockets containing durations of maintenance activities and observations
-Other duties as assigned
Job requirements
-HVAC and Refrigeration /Journeyman Cert. training an asset, 3rd and 4th years may apply
-Experience trouble-shooting and servicing HVAC equipment and controls
-Willing to complete training in relevant areas as needed
-Required experience: HVAC: 3 years
-Trade certification for refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics is compulsory
