Refrigeration Mechanic Helper Job

Skilled technician proficient in piping, threading, and bending, using hand and power tools. Supports installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Assists in wiring, communication, and power transmission cable work. Collaborates with lead technicians for HVAC equipment repairs, installation, and system testing. Ensures compliance with safety standards and communicates effectively with the team and project stakeholders.

• Assist in the repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems;
• Measuring, cutting, threading and bending piping by hand and with power tools;
• Help in assembling and installing refrigeration or air conditioning components;
• Assist in the recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing;
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices;
• Provide customer service;
• Help in the installation, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems;
• Handle, recover and store refrigerants.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from designated work areas;
• Communication with site foreman, field supervisor, project manager and our engineering team.
