Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice

Rep-Air Heating and Cooling Inc., located at 32929 Mission Way Suite 4 Mission, BC V2V 6E4 is seeking to hire a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice

The right candidate will perform the following duties:

• Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration language. Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Maintains accurate records of work completed, including service reports, repair logs, and relevant project records.
• Test systems for leaking using testing devices.
• Repair and replace parts and components of refrigeration systems.
• Independently performs HVAC maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in routine system inspections and preventive measures.
• Enhances troubleshooting skills, identifying and resolving complex issues within refrigeration systems.
• Independently replaces components within mechanical systems, showcasing proficiency in hands-on repairs.
• Engages in continuous learning, staying updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and safety regulations.
• Optimizes system efficiency, implementing adjustments to enhance overall performance.

The skills and qualifications required for the program are:

• Completion of secondary school is required. Training courses or completion of a vocational program would be considered an asset.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are required.
• English fluency is required. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused.

Wages: $32.00/hr based on 40 hrs a week
