The duties for this Recruiting Officer position involves managing the hiring process to attract, evaluate, and onboard new talent. This role will evaluate candidates, prepare job offers, and advise on staffing policies, as well as ensuring compliance.

Job Duties:
1. According to staffing needs, develop fitting job descriptions as well as posting the detailed terms and conditions online.
2. Examine the various jobseeker-oriented channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events and utilize them to attract potential qualifiers.
3. Collect job applications and review the resumes received to determine qualified candidates for further interviews.
4. Coordinate with the human resource department on scheduling different stages of interviews, preparing questions, and assessing the responses to identify the best performers.
5. Conduct necessary background checks, references, and verifications on claimed skillset or achievements before proceeding.
6. Facilitate a smooth orientation process for all new staff by preparing essential onboarding materials, introducing relevant contacts, and providing an overview of key responsibilities for their roles.
7. Ensure that there are well-defined grievance and consultation policies. Work with the management to create guidelines that comply with labour laws and reflect the company’s values of fairness and transparency.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the labour market and suggest on adjusting recruitment policies or strategies to reflect the changing preferences of job seekers.
9. Make sure our company policies regarding hiring practices and employee benefits comply with relevant industry laws and government regulations.
10. Arrange regular job training and development sessions to help employees handle their tasks, and assist in completing legal paperwork such as tax forms, direct deposit setup, and more.
Job Requirements:
1. A college diploma in business administration, industrial relations, commerce or working experience in a relevant field is required.
2. At least one year of experience in coordinating recruitment processes is required.
3. Possess the ability to assess candidates’ skills and work ethics while making objective and fair hiring suggestions.
4. Show attention to detail and organizational skills while screening applications, reviewing qualifications, and ensuring recruiting compliance.
5. Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to engage candidates and co-workers well.
