RECEIVING SUPERVISOR/ MANAGER Job

Oversee and manage all incoming receivings to ensure they are handled promptly and efficiently.
Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries, and provide routing information.
Organize and store received inventory, and manage the arrangement of goods in the warehouse.
Resolve any issues with damaged, delayed, or missing receivings
Inventory and record-keeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using a computer system or other tracking methods.
Conduct and manage physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Record all shipping and receiving activities in log books or a management system.
Create receiving receipts, packing slips, and other necessary documents.
Management and supervision
Supervise, train, and guide warehouse staff, and handle personnel issues.
Create and implement departmental policies and procedures.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, sales, customer service) to align shipping and receiving activities.
Manage the departmental budget and prepare financial reports.
Safety and compliance
Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs to ensure a secure work environment.
Ensure all operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Conduct safety checks on equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
