Position Info:
• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $21.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 397 Railway Street, Vancouver, BC V6A 1A4

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook menu items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, hot dishes, baked goods, and catering items according to standardized recipes
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, marinating, and organizing food items for daily service and catering orders
• Follow cooking times, temperatures, and portion standards to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
• Assist with catering orders, including bulk food preparation, portioning, packaging, and timely order completion
• Keep the kitchen, workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas clean and organized
• Monitor food inventory, rotate ingredients, report shortages, and assist with receiving and storing supplies

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
