Quantitative Analyst Job

• Data scraping from target reports as well as data cleaning with Python and MySQL;
• Developed the Slack API with Python;
• Built the risk calculation model and reported the risk results to our Slack channel as well as email address automatically with Python and R;
• Analyzed outage, wind, and load patterns for risk model further development with Python, regression, descriptive statistic, and classification;
• Built an interactive dashboard to display the risk analysis with Python;
• Analyzed constraints in SPPISO and NYISO with Panorama, Dayzer, and PowerSignals;
• Assessed other market participants' performance with Python and MySQL;
• Evaluated the Dayzer performance on target constraints with Python and Dayzer.

- Master’s degree in Statistics, or other quantitative field.
- Six months of experience as Quantitative Analyst in data scraping, analyzing constraints.
- Knowledge of Statistical Machine Learning, Advanced Data Analysis, Statistical Methods in Finance.
- Skills in using Python, MySQL, Panorama, PowerSignals.
