Quality Technician – Paint Department (2nd Shift)
Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Occasional Fridays required for overtime

What You’ll Do
As part of our Quality team, you will:
Inspect and analyze raw materials, components, in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications
Perform detailed quality checks using appropriate measurement tools and equipment
Identify opportunities for improvement in products and manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings clearly
Support and monitor performance indicators (PIs/KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
Contribute to maintaining and improving quality, environmental, and OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety & Environment) standards
Assist with quality-related activities specific to the paint department
Uphold Ficosa’s Code of Ethics and comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
Basic English skills (written and spoken)
At least 1 year of experience in a similar quality or manufacturing role
Preferred Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection equipment
Knowledge of quality systems and environmental standards
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude

Company Profile:
Ficosa began operating in the USA in 1995, through a technical-commercial office in Michigan, which was nearby the decision centres of the North-American car makers in Detroit. Since then, the company has expanded its capacities for the development of projects for the NAFTA area, with the creation of a test laboratory in 1996; a CAD department in 1997 and a prototype laboratory in 1998. In 2000, Ficosa consolidated its Engineering Centre with new headquarters in Madison Heights, where the technical-commercial office for the NAFTA market already was. Since 2008 Ficosa also has a production plant in US, located in Cookeville, Tennessee.
