Quality Manager Job

Hendrickson USA, LLC - Quality Manager - Hebron, OH

Responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining quality operating systems that improve product quality and customer expectations. Acts as the Management Representative for IATF 16949, ISO 9001. Leads quality continuous improvement efforts. Organizes and leads teams to investigate product or process quality concerns to their root cause and initiate improvements. Manages quality controls with respect to subcontracted materials and components. Facilitates the resolution of supplier quality issues through established quality management systems. Manages and improves the quality control facilities, which include purchase and calibration of gauges and tooling. Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure control over materials/products. 20% domestic travel required. Supervises Quality Engineers (2), Quality Technicians (3), and QA Inspectors (5).

Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related required. Will accept foreign degree that is evaluated to be the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related by an education evaluation. 2 years as Project Quality Manager, Quality Manager, or related required. Experience must have included leading project and product quality activities for Intro block projects at plants; developing and tracking Quality Assurance plan and Quality tool plan; and training others in practical application of quality principles including Quality assurance tools such as PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Initial quality control, control plan, and risk management.
