Responsibilities

Monitors inspection loads and estimates inspection hour requirements for completion of jobs.
Drives continuous improvement efforts in gaging applications and measurement of close tolerance products.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Drives Gage R&R on equipment to ensure measurement accuracy and repeatability.
Drives standardization of inspection methods within the department and across the plant.
Ensures on time completion of gage calibration.
Leads the supplier delegation program.
Participates in internal and external audits.
Interprets company policies to Quality Assurance hourly workers and enforces work rules and safety regulations.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree; Engineering or Technical is preferred.
5+ years of experience in Quality related experience
Leadership and/or Management skills along with the desire to lead and mentor teams (10-15 inspectors / technicians).
Must come from a plant manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to resolve complex quality issues and implement systemic process improvements.
Ability to manage multiple quality initiatives at once.
