Job Description:
Quality Engineer is needed to perform the following duties:

· Production/Operations Management and Capital Budgeting and Cost Analysis equipped me with the skills to manage production processes, evaluate make vs. buy decisions, and optimize resource utilization, all while ensuring product quality.

· Design of Experiments and Regression Analysis taught me how to utilize statistical methods to identify quality-related inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements.

· Operations Research.which are particularly beneficial for optimizing quality control processes, line balancing, and addressing logistical challenges in Quality environments.

· Ergonomics and Occupational Biomechanics provided me with essential tools to assess workstation design and mitigate ergonomic risks, a critical aspect of conducting safety and risk assessments in quality settings.

· Practical experience in process simulation and layout optimization through Advanced Simulation Modeling and Analysis, which complements the use of tools like FlexSim and AutoCAD in quality assessment.

· Project Management and Entrepreneurial Engineering prepared me to oversee quality assurance efforts, collaborate across departments, and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational excellence. Collectively, these courses provided me with the technical and strategic competencies essential for success as a Quality Engineer.

· Conduct safety and ergonomic risk assessments of quality lines and propose corrective actions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Design Engineering) to drive process standardization and ISO 9001 standards.

· Manage and revise Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain accurate quality data in PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).

· Communicate and present reports, metrics, and improvement plans to key stakeholders and leadership.

· Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter), Val-Genesis, and Lean Six Sigma principles.

· Strong understanding of industrial engineering methods, work measurement systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with shop floor personnel and cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is required in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management.
