At YaYA, Quality Control Trainer (NOC 22100) would have the following responsibilities:
• Develop a schedule and create training programs to assess training needs.
• Create training materials and operating manuals to implement and reinforce new and existing quality assurance standards.
• Evaluate, coach, and mentor new hire employees to achieve optimum performance.
• Address and discuss issues related to workflow, production, employee performance, and propose solutions with superiors.
• Monitor and evaluate newly hired technicians to ensure understanding of procedures, accuracy in testing, and adherence to quality standards; provide ongoing coaching and training as needed.
• Working closely with quality assurance and cross functional departments to identify gaps, resolve issues, and streamline the process which is being done by lab technicians to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
• Maintain up-to-date training records, proficiency records, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Train QC Technicians in job duties, safety procedures, OPLs (One Point Lesson), and company policy.
• Update the probationary evaluation on time and report the weakness and strength after 45 and 90 days.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.
• Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
• Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
• Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
• Other duties as assigned.

Profile
• Post-secondary education in Quality Control or related field is required
• 2 + years of experience in a leadership or trainer position preferably in a food and beverage manufacturing environment
• Skill in organization, analysis, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
• Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of management.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and management
• skills to effectively lead and mentor new staff and junior employees.
