Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Identify any defects or non-conformities in the parts or processes, examining parts for cracks, warping, or incorrect assembly and ensuring that components meet tolerances.
• Implement and maintain quality processes across manufacturing operations, monitor and improve process control measures to reduce defects and improve efficiency by utilizing QSB.
• Ensure that all products and parts adhere to industry standards, company specifications, and any relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine the source of the problem when defects are identified, and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that can reduce defects, waste, and inefficiencies while enhancing product quality.
• Ensure that measurement and testing tools are properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate results during inspections.
• Conduct regular internal audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with both internal quality systems and external standards such as ISO and IATF 16949.
• Monitor the quality processes by utilizing SAP to observe any product defects and help to manufacture products to meet industry standards.
• Ensure to compile and maintain regulatory documentations, such as quality assurance claims, customer in-line claims, and claims to suppliers, in SAP program.
• Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes, and determining operational and performance qualification through SAP, QSB and APQP.
• Create reports on developing and implementing operational procedures and schedules for quality activities.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or closely related field of study and Minimum one (1) year of experience operating and maintaining quality management programs and systems in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
