What you will be doing:
You will be employed in the position of Production Help. The required duties for this position are listed below.
- Measure wood frame – chairs, ottoman, sofa, headboards
- Make foam patterns for seat & back (cut foam, glue foam, cut fiber
- Consult with production supervisors to determine foam grade, density & weight
- Keep inventory of patterns (cardboard/ lining)
- Order Standard foam (various thickness and length)
What we are looking for:
- Able to work as part of a team and individually and weekends, if needed
- No formal education required
- Experience: Experience with cutting foam will be advantageous but not required - on-the-job training will be provided
- Good English language skills required
- This is an on-site work and we need you to report at our location: 10899 Keele St., Maple, ON, L6A 0K6
What we offer:
- Pay rate: $28.50 per hour for at least 30 hours of work per week, overtime of $42.75 after 44 hours of work per week
- Full-time work
- Holiday: 2 weeks paid vacation
- Health Benefits: Family medical and dental benefit (80%)
- Private insurance until eligible for provincial healthcare, if applicable
