Quality Assurance Technician (SQF Support) (Valesco Trading LLC, South Hackensack, New Jersey 07606) Measure, test, and inspect incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and inspect and report to management for compliance with New Jersey food safety regulations, FDA requirements, and SQF standards; monitor CCPs (labeling, brine preparation) and CQPs (weight and seal verification); verify label and ingredient accuracy and compatibility; and support SQF documentation, sanitation, and report routine quality control activities.

Associates of Applied Science in Hospitality Management or a related is required. 3 months of experience as a food quality assurance specialist. FDA Food Defense Awareness for Front Line Workers Certificate, Food Safety Management Principles Certificate, HACCP Food Safety Quality Management Certificate, Food Protection Manager Certificate and SQF Practitioner Certificate are required.
