Position Overview
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and operational excellence. You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance and food safety management systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet industry and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain the production of high-quality freeze-dried products management systems.
• Establish quality assurance policies and objectives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Lead quality control audits and oversee internal and external inspection processes.
• Manage the plant design, equipment manufacturing, and the production process, ensuring prompt action, documentation, and communication.
• Provide training and guidance to quality assurance personnel, fostering continuous improvement in quality practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with production procedures, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Analyze production data to identify quality trends and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present reports on quality performance and system effectiveness to senior management.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the manufacturing or food processing industries.
• Proven expertise in ISO9001, FSSC22000, or equivalent quality management systems is an asset.
• Experience with supplier quality audits and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
• Familiarity with freeze-dry technologies and processes is an asset.
