Reliant Solutions is a behavioral health agency currently expanding services across Region 4. We are seeking experienced and dedicated professionals to join our team as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) and Mobile Crisis Team Members to support individuals in need of immediate behavioral health intervention.

This is a field-based role serving Petersburg, Virginia and surrounding localities, including Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Powhatan, and Prince George counties.

Position Overview

The Mobile Crisis Team Member / QMHP provides direct, community-based crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond in real time, and a commitment to supporting individuals in crisis with dignity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to mobile crisis calls in the community in a timely manner
Conduct on-site behavioral health assessments and risk evaluations
Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization services
Collaborate with families, community partners, and service providers
Develop and implement safety and support plans
Complete required documentation in accordance with state and agency standards
Coordinate referrals to appropriate levels of care and follow-up services

Qualifications
Must meet criteria as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in the state of Virginia
Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or human services preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based setting
Knowledge of community resources and service coordination

Required Certification
Virginia Mobile Crisis Certification (REQUIRED)
Candidates must possess current certification or be eligible and able to provide proof

Familiarity with Virginia’s crisis response system and protocols strongly preferred

Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas
Ability to pass background check and meet state compliance requirements
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed

Compensation
$38–$45 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
