Job Description:
Electrical Engineer to perform the following duties :

• Follow guidance & instructions from our engineering manager to prepare technical drawings and design/update standard operating processes and procedures of electrical systems for technologically advanced sophisticated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment applying engineering principles/techniques/tools to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and supplier recommendations;
• Work closely under the direction of Engineering Manager to maintain and/or improve electrical instruments of equipment components or systems within the plant and ensure that all are operating within acceptable conditions and no untoward incidence are foreseen;
• Inspect completed equipment installations as assigned and observe operations of electrical components to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational, safety, or environmental standards – will analyze technical data and prepare inspection reports for manager’s review, corrections and approval;
• Review technical data as assigned from operational/maintenance logs for advanced equipment/ lab instruments/ logistics/ packaging machinery, troubleshoot any malfunction/inefficiencies under manager’s guidance and prepare reports routinely for manager’s review;
• Work under the close direction of our engineering manager to identify and execute internal electrical engineering projects based on business needs and internal requirements – these include custom design of equipment/ system, modifications/ upgradations of equipment/ machinery/ system which are related to engineering and technology etc.
• Follow guidelines and draft/develop proposals for process improvements/ modifications, equipment calibrations, design modifications, maintenance solutions etc. for engineering manager’s review, correction and approval;
• Consult with vendors and follow training guidelines/ instructions/ directions from engineering manager to develop custom solutions & prepare drafts of custom layout drawings for electrical components used in advanced equipment etc.;
• Follow regulations as instructed and prepare IQ, OQ and PQ protocols/reports for new equipment as per cGMP requirements – will be closely monitored by manager who will review, correct and approve protocols/reports;
• Research the market for new engineering related processes/techniques being implemented in the pharma industry and prepare reports for his manager’s review and consideration; and
• Approximately 85% of the time will be spent in analyzing requirements, studying applicable regulations/guidelines/industry practices and preparing technical drawings/plans for electrical components/systems including assisting in designing/developing equipment/processes/methods, maintenance solutions, inspecting electrical components etc. – all under the close supervision and guidance from our Engineering Manager. Approximately 15% of the time will be spent in interacting with various engineers/ consultants/ vendors etc. to identify new technology and equipment and to assist engineering team to custom tailor it for petitioner’s facility and operations etc.

Bachelor’s degree is required in Electrical Engineering or Energy Management
