Purchasing supervisor Job

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to manage international sourcing and supplier coordination. This role is pivotal to our growth, requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between overseas farmers and our local operations. This position requires regular travel to Taiwan for procurement, quality control, and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and secure supply contracts with independent tea farmers and specialized agricultural producers in international markets.
Manage the sensory evaluation and quality control of "Origin Series" leaves, requiring regular on-site visits to international production regions.
Innovate the supply chain by creating direct-from-source logistics that bypass standard distributors.
Negotiate complex, seasonal purchase agreements based on harvest yields and quality grading.

Requirements:
Education: A University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Language: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally (specifically to Taiwan) for harvest inspections and supplier negotiations.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and logistics management skills.

Preferred Assets:
Industry Insight: Previous procurement experience or familiarity with the Boba Tea or Specialty Tea industry.
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with Origin Tea sourcing, including seasonal harvest cycles, technical tea-grading standards, and direct-from-farmer sourcing protocols.
Language: Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Taiwanese is a strong asset for direct technical negotiations with regional farmers.
