Job Description:
AGS America is an auto parts manufacturer for Korea based Hyundai and KLIA Motors is looking for a purchasing specilaist for the following duties;
[1] Monitor pricing trends of current vendors to ensure competitiveness;
[2] Identify and develop new vendor relationships, both locally and in Korea to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals;
[3] Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain a reliable supplier database;
[4] Collaborate with Quality, Applications, Engineering and Production teams to align materials supply with demand forecasts;
[5] Negotiates pricing and terms with vendors to achieve optimal cost savings and ensure contact compliance;
[6] Provide management with actionable insights by collecting, analyzing and summarizing supply chain data; and etc.
