Duties and Responsibilities as a Purchasing Officer NOC 12102, but not limited
- Purchasing various equipment and materials to ensure that all items and services required for the restaurant's operations are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Assessing the specific needs of the restaurant and developing detailed specifications for the equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
- Inviting suppliers to bid, consulting with suppliers, and reviewing quotations to ensure the selection of the most suitable supplier. Negotiating contract terms with suppliers, determining or recommending the awarding of supplier contracts to ensure favorable contract terms for the restaurant.
- Establishing delivery schedules and monitoring delivery progress, contacting suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise. Specifically, ensuring that all purchasing processes related to Northern Lights Chinese Cuisine are conducted efficiently to meet the restaurant's operational needs.
- Ensure that the purchased equipment and materials are suitable for actual use. Supervising and training purchasing clerks to ensure the efficient operation and professional development of the purchasing team.
- Working closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure that the purchased ingredients and supplies meet the standards and needs of Northern Lights Chinese Cuisine and support the daily operations. Regularly evaluating and adjusting the supplier list to ensure the restaurant consistently obtains high-quality and reasonably priced ingredients and supplies.
- Managing and maintaining all procurement records and documents, ensuring transparency and traceability of all procurement activities, and providing solid data support for the purchasing processes of Northern Lights Chinese Cuisine.
