Job Description:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish strong partnerships with reliable suppliers and manufacturers. Negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and terms.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the purchasing budget and develop cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements:
- Education: At minimum a college diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement, with some experience in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry standard, regulatory compliance etc.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Communication: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze complex data and drive decisions based on insights.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement, with some experience in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
