Purchasing Director Job

Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the
organization
Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials,
equipment, machinery and supplies
Plan and control budget and expenditures
Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy
Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures
Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services
Authorize the development of speci¬cations for products or services
Review and process claims against suppliers
Oversee the analysis of data and information
Organize and maintain inventory
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce or economics is usually required• At least three years of experience in purchasing is required.Fluent in English. 30 hours per week.
