WPIC Construction, LLC. located in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Purchasing Agent with a Bachelor degree in Construction management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related fields Email resume to [email protected]
Salary Offered: $66,950.00
· Prepare subcontract agreements, scopes of work, and bid packages. Prepare/edit contracts, contract addendums, and forms, and enter data as required.
· Maintain organized e-files on all subcontractor contracts and bid files. Ensure that all documents are current and valid. Update master awarded bid list on monthly basis.
· Distribute plans, specs, production schedules, and related documents and correspondence to field personnel, trade contractors, suppliers, consultants, and others as needed.
· Qualify subcontractors.
· Work on special assignments.
· Interact with members of the public and customers on a regular basis. Meet with public agencies, responsible individuals at job sites and other location as needed.
· Manage ongoing communications (e-mail, telephone, etc.).
· Stay current on innovative products, construction techniques, and trends affecting the building industry. Actively look for cost-saving techniques to recommend to Clients.
· Actively work with Management team to improve product and schedule and resolve construction problems.
· Schedule meetings.
· Maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships;
· Other necessary functions as required by the Director of Purchasing
