Purchasing Agent Job

Ontario Impex Of Canada Inc. is looking for a full-time permanent Purchasing Agent.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
-Assess the requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
-Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
-Negotiate offers from suppliers.
-Consult with suppliers.
-Review quotations.
-Determine contract terms and conditions.
-Award contracts to appropriate parties.
-Establish delivery schedules.
-Monitor progress of delivery schedules.
-Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
-Provide customer service.
-Internal audit.
-Work closely with the shipping / receiving department to receive product/packing slips and inventory items in the system.
-Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF is preferred.
-Must know Indian Spices and dairy products for inventory.
- Must have knowledge of Focus ERP
Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Experience Required: 1 year to less than 2 years
