Prototype CNC Machinists needed

Hours: 1st shift (flexible start times)

Location: Hanover Park, IL

Temp to Hire or PERM

$30-40 an hour

Our Machinists set up and operate CNC lathes and Mills as we partner with our customers in the development of their latest products.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have 10 years of experience, puts quality first, demonstrates attention to detail, is willing to learn and train others, and is experienced in close-tolerance machining. Operates CNC machine equipment to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces, inspect parts to ensure compliance to print specifications by performing the following duties:
Read blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.
Observe operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
Operates machines and equipment other than machine tools.
Complete in process inspection sheets.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
This position will NOT supervise anyone.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
Able to read and interpret prints.
Firm understanding of GDT.
Experience with hard turn machining and close tolerances .0001.
