Position Overview
The Property Management Officer is responsible for managing leasing activities, overseeing property operations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring that lease agreements and service contracts are properly administered. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to providing timely and professional service to clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of residential and/or mixed-use properties on behalf of property owners, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with lease agreements
2. Negotiate, review, approve, and administer rental and lease agreements in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations
3. Ensure tenants’ compliance with lease terms, address non-compliance issues, and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions
4. Plan, coordinate, and supervise property maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects to maintain property standards and asset value
5. Prepare, administer, and monitor contracts for property-related services, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor services
6. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise support staff performing clerical, operational, or maintenance duties
7. Monitor work progress, service quality, timelines, and costs related to property operations and report findings to property owners or management
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of rental income, operating expenses, service contracts, and property performance
9. Prepare regular financial and operational reports, including expense summaries and income statements
10. Respond promptly and professionally to tenant and client inquiries, service requests, and emergency or trouble calls, ensuring timely resolution
Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent education and relevant work experience
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in property management, real estate administration, or a related field
Languages: English
Work Environment: On-site position; No option for remote work
