Position: Project Manager, Interior Design

Location: 1311 United Blvd Unit 101, Coquitlam, BC, V3K 6V3
Wage: $35.00 Cad per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Moe’s Home Collection is a renowned furniture retail brand, and our Coquitlam store is a proud franchise of this iconic name. Specializing in beautifully designed furniture, the Coquitlam store also undertakes various interior design projects for residential and commercial clients. As our business expands, we are seeking a “Project Manager, Interior Design” to oversee and execute design projects with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring all phases are completed on time and within budget
Coordinate and oversee the design and installation teams, clearly delegating tasks and monitoring progress
Maintain regular and clear communication with clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and incorporating feedback to meet client expectations
Conduct regular checks and assessments to ensure all project deliverables meet design standards and client specifications
Collaborate with the retail team to recommend suitable furniture from our collection for design projects, enhancing both client satisfaction and sales
Work closely with the sales team to offer strategic advice for showroom displays, creating visually appealing setups that attract and engage customers
Identity potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate delays or cost overruns
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during all design and construction activities.

Job Requirements:
A university degree or college diploma in interior design is required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in project management within interior design or a related field
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage client expectations and project teams effectively
Experience in budgeting, timeline management, and coordinating design and installation teams
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, as required by the company
