Job Description:
Project Manager, Engineered Products – Oversee and participate in project planning, estimating, scheduling, staffing, procurement, and execution of projects; Maintain and manage client relationship and expectations; Manage and communicate project changes that may impact either budget or schedule; Ability to manage several projects through the full project life cycle process; Assist in the development and implementation of account and project strategies; Provide ongoing customer insight and historical perspectives to support current project proposals; Assist in preparation and development of project proposals and strategy; Participate in proposal review meetings, site/department visits, and estimating efforts, as required in the development of the proposal; Travel throughout United States to make specialized sales calls along with other Mitutoyo America sales personnel. Visit current and potential customers to promote specific products and assist with customer meetings; Keep informed of Mitutoyo America products and provide input on new product research and development; Communicate new developments to management; Attend Mitutoyo meetings and participate in sales training, product knowledge training sessions and on-boarding training as required; Maintain regular contact and communications with Mitutoyo America personnel as required. Salary: $79,376.88/year to $119,065.32/year. Special skills – Experience in manufacturing industry processes and automation technology; metrology principles to ensure accurate measurement methods and quality assurance are performed throughout the project lifecycle; manufacturing quality strategies to identify, analyze, and mitigate quality risks in projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications; and GD&T to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet design specifications.
