Project Manager Job

Responsibilities

Estimate design/build projects, residential, commercial, and municipal in nature.
Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor and equipment.
Assess the risk levels associated with a project.
Ensure profitability through preparation of competitive proposals.
Manage the submittal process for projects and bids.
Define project scope, acquire bids and approve all invoices from subcontractors.
Schedule short term and long-term crews for projects.
Conduct daily site visits on projects, monitoring subs, quality and schedule.
Monitor the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University is preferred; An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
3+ years of related project management, coordination, and estimating experience.
Landscape Design/Build and/or Residential/Commercial Construction Management industry experience is required.
Ability to read blueprints and lay out a job site.
Ability to understand contracts, scope of work, change order preparation, and bill of materials.
Ability to plan, organize, and negotiate along with general business knowledge.
Strong communication skills, personal accountability, performance management, employee development, and ability to help create a positive work environment.
