Job Title: Project Manager
Reporting to: Children’s Investment Fund (CIF) Director
Employer: Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC)
Position Status: Full Time, Hybrid, Exempt
Who we are: Founded in 1990, CIF’s primary purpose is to improve the quality of and expand access to early childhood education and out-of-school time programs for low and moderate-income families. As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) since 2018, it has achieved this mission by providing loans, training, and technical assistance to support child care facility construction and renovation projects, as well as acting as the administrator of grants annually through the MA Department of Early Education and Care’s EEOST Capital Fund.
Summary of Position: The Project Manager works as a small team member, focusing on facility development for early childhood education and out-of-school time programs in Massachusetts. They are expected to work collaboratively with our grantees/borrowers to provide support and technical assistance with a strong customer service focus. The Project Manager facilitates the successful management of all phases of the real estate development process. They advise grantees/borrowers during development and manage the process from underwriting to disbursement. They also work with grantees/borrowers to achieve successful project completion by helping to identify additional resources as needed. The Project Manager reports to the Children’s Investment Fund Director.
Compensation/Benefits:
Full-time starting salary range: $85,680 - $88,500, commensurate with experience and education.

CEDAC provides predevelopment and acquisition loans and technical assistance to nonprofit community-based organizations involved in affordable housing development and preservation across Massachusetts.

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in real estate development, lending, or a relevant field
• Relevant Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
• Familiarity with the child care field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrable ability to engage in financial analysis essential.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
• Must live in Massachusetts
