Project Engineering Manager Job

Manage project finances and on-site execution by establishing and tracking budgets, job costs, and change orders. Organize financial data from field operations. Verify contractor bids and quantities. Monitor contractor performance. Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements. Serve as link between project team, general contractor, engineers, and vendors, supporting milestone planning, resource allocation, cost control and master schedule development. Resolve issues through active progress tracking. Manage project setup and administrative operations. Establish project files and coordinate utility locate requests. Support compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Review design documents, navigate CAD and 3D models, prepare and track submittals, coordinate vendor product data and shop drawings, and generate RFIs to clarify design intent. Support estimating through 3D AGTEK modeling, quantity take-offs, cost estimating, proposal development, and budget alignment in collaboration with project management and clients.
Required: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Building Construction or Civil Engineering plus 2 years experience in job offered or as Project Engineer. Must have experience developing 3D models using AGTEK to produce volume reports; with working on quantitative take-off using drawings, with estimating software, with preparation of cost estimates, with analysis of product specifications to determine budget requirements, with creating sales proposals, with responding to RFI’s, with regulatory compliance, with safety requirements, scheduling, and manpower requirement fulfillment. Must have worked on large scale institutional construction projects.
