Job Description:
• Work with multi-discipline teams to support conventional mining for mineral recovery, underground civil cavern projects in support of the petroleum and power generation sectors, and solution mining projects for both the recovery of mineral and the creation of petroleum storage.
• Utilize a variety of software packages to investigate and analyze surface and underground mine designs, slope and pillar stability analyses, geotechnical investigations, and other industry standard computations.
• Author, publish, and present professional papers at conferences that support the worldwide mining engineering community.
• Conduct geological surveys and assessments to evaluate the feasibility of mining within tabular/sedimentary geologic environments.
• Assist professional engineer(s) in developing detailed mining plans, production schedules, and economic analysis.
• Resource and reserve estimates of tabular/sedimentary mineral deposits, such as coal, trona, potash, etc.
• Using various computer coding (e.g., LAMODEL, UDEC, FLAC, and other computer codes) to perform rock mechanics stress analysis, post mining subsidence analysis, and ventilation analysis.

Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Mining Engineering or Engineering Discipline; or closely related field.
- One year experience as Mine Planning Engineer working on generating 3D modeling, conducting precise reserve estimations,
- One year experience overseeing and supervising drilling operations, conducting related tests (e.g. packer testing), and analyzing borehole samples.
- Skills in using
o Advanced-level Micromine
o Advanced-level WellCAD
o Python programming
o BEM software LaModel
o Stability mapping software
o Stone mine pillar design.
- One year experience as Mine Planning Engineer working on generating 3D modeling, conducting precise reserve estimations,
