Project Engineer Job

Project Engineer (Farmers Branch, TX) Manage the end-to-end design, construction, and commissioning of chemical plant systems, including process utilities (e.g., DI water, process cooling water, compressed air, vacuum, chemical waste) and building infrastructure. Lead the engineering and installation of tanks, pumps, process equipment, and distribution piping according to industry standards (e.g., ASME, NFPA). Review and develop P&IDs, equipment specifications, and piping layouts. Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams—process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and architectural—to ensure integrated project execution. Perform detailed process–utility balance calculations and optimize system capacity and energy efficiency for both chemical production and support utilities. Oversee permitting processes for chemical systems and building/civil works with U.S. federal, state, and local authorities. Serve for full-scope EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) activities, ensuring compliance, schedule adherence, and technical alignment across all phases. 40hours/week, Offered wage: $151,278/year, Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related and 60 months of experience as Chemical Engineer or related required.
