Job Summary:
Experienced Mainframe Developer needed to enhance a legacy z/OS accounting system by building new composite reservoir account functionality with strong accuracy, auditability, and minimal impact to existing production processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and extend existing COBOL accounting programs
• Develop new composite reservoir account functionality
• Modify JCL and batch processing for nightly and month-end cycles
• Support audit, reconciliation, exception reporting, and documentation
• Create test data, regression packs, and parallel-run comparisons
• Assist with implementation and early production support
Required Skills and Certification:
• 5+ years of Enterprise COBOL development in z/OS
• 5+ years of experience with NaturalOne
• 3+ years of JCL development and production support
• 3+ years with financial/accounting systems, Adabas, and VSAM
• Strong experience tracing legacy undocumented logic
• Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred Skills and Certification:
• Experience with cash management, sweeps, or treasury applications
• Experience with CA-7, REXX, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with IBM MQ, REST services, or z/OS Connect
Scheduling:
• 100% Remote
• 40 hours/week
• Start Date: 12/01/2026
