Program Director- Senior Job

Job Summary:
Experienced Program Director needed to lead a large-scale tax system modernization program, overseeing transformation of core systems, workflows, service channels, and data structures across multiple releases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead program planning, scheduling, and execution
• Coordinate with vendors, program leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and change requests
• Deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
• Oversee vendor deliverables, staffing plans, and budget tracking
• Support governance meetings and organizational change activities
Required Skills and Certification:
• 7+ years in program or project management
• Experience leading large-scale modernization or transformation programs
• Strong experience with status reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations
• Knowledge of government technology regulatory standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and MS Teams
Preferred Skills and Certification:
• PMP or PgMP preferred
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with tax operations or related technologies
