Required Production Supervisor (TEER 92012):
Position Summary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers engaged in food and dairy processing and packaging.
• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, CFIA, and workplace safety regulations.
• Train employees on job duties, sanitation, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production schedules and ensure targets are met.
• Prepare and maintain reports related to production, quality control, and inventory.
• Requisition raw materials and ensure adequate supply levels.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Coordinate with quality assurance and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
• Completion of secondary school education; post-secondary education in food processing or a related field will be an asset.
• 3-4 years of experience in food and beverage processing or a related manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and production processes.
• Good leadership, communication, and ability to supervise and train production staff effectively.
