Production supervisor - Machining Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your skills, knowledge, and expertise as a dedicated Production supervisor - Machining. Come and join us.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly production, quality and shift reports to management.
- Troubleshoot production issues, provide technical guidance and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and product quality.
- Create and maintain shift schedules and assign operators and machine time to meet production targets.
- Enforce safety procedures, conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
- Assess team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and recommend hiring, training or disciplinary actions as required.
- Oversee machine setup, tooling and start-up checks and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of machining staff, delegate tasks and monitor work progress.
- Manage material and supply orders, monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to prevent production delays.

Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary school
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
- Possesses and able to carry out work with the following characteristics:
