PNP Pharmaceuticals Inc. located at 9388 North Fraser Crescent, Burnaby, BC, V2J 0E3, is looking to fill the position of a Production Supervisor. We are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate to lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations within our pharmaceutical facility, to work along with our Production Manager.
Salary: $37/ hour
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 30 hours/week. The applicant will be required to work Saturdays and Sundays plus up to three additional weekdays, per schedule.

Job duties for this position include:
Supervise day-to-day production activities onsite to ensure adherence to manufacturing schedules;
Monitor the quality of products manufactured and ensure manufacturing compliance with SOP's and all regulatory guidelines;
Establish methods to meet work schedules;
Organize workflow and ensure all production operations comply with company standards;
Supervise staff, duties which include delegating, scheduling, evaluating, interviewing, training and mentoring responsibilities;
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;
Act as an alternate for preparation of Manufacturing Master Formulas (MMFs) and Packaging Master Formulas (PMFs)
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with all safety and lean manufacturing principles.

- 2 years or more of experience in a supervisory level or leadership role is required;
- 2 years or more of quality control experience and manufacturing is required;
- Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operation, including but not limited to tablet press, capsule filler, bottling line, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude to work and people management skills;
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance procedures;
- Ideal applicant must be available to work on any scheduled, rotational or call-in shifts including night shifts and weekends;
- Able to work under pressure and within time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be in good health with no communicable disease or dust allergies
