Production Maintenance Engineer Manager
Location: Valdosta, Georgia
Schedule: 1st Shift - M-F Schedule (Weekends On-Call)
Overview:
Seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to manage the maintenance of production machinery and equipment at a fast-paced industrial facility. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, improve reliability and efficiency, and support production goals while upholding safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute preventive & predictive maintenance programs
Lead, mentor, and train maintenance team
Manage maintenance budgets and cost forecasts
Collaborate with Production, Engineering & Facilities teams
Optimize processes (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S)
Maintain EAM systems (Oracle, Qlik, and SharePoint)
Oversee inventory & spare parts management
Ensure OSHA & regulatory compliance
Manage external contractors
Document and report maintenance KPIs & performance
Supervisory Duties:
Set goals, assign tasks, and evaluate team performance
Ensure safety, ethical practices, and high morale
Resolve conflicts, manage resources, and provide feedback
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Production, Manufacturing, or Product Engineering
5+ year’s leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance
Proficient in EAM, Microsoft Office, budgeting & predictive maintenance tools
Strong understanding of OSHA, industrial safety, and automation systems
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Valid passport (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
